Giving freedom of movement: BED POLE HOIST.

The freedom to move around is a basic human desire. However, many injuries or treatments leave patients in need of some form of technical support to get them back on their feet. We have developed a number of different systems to make this possible.

BED POLE HOIST
The bed pole hoist can be mounted at the head of the bed to the left or right in the pivotable socket provided. The bed pole hoist is made from double-walled tubular piping for extra stability. Two pins on the ridge section prevent the grab handle from slipping down.

GRAB HANDLE
The sturdy plastic grab handle has a comfortable soft-grip finish and a retractable strap for adjusting the height.

CABLE HOLDERS
Cable holders clip onto the bed pole hoist to keep power cables and call system wiring neat and tidy. Cable holders also provide strain relief which can prevent wires from being accidently pulled out.

ROPE LADDER
A rope ladder can be used to help patients sit up in bed without the aid of a bed pole hoist. The ladder is laid out on the bed and attached at the foot end.

INFUSION HOLDER
A plastic infusion holder can be mounted on the top section of the bed pole hoist for attaching infusion bags. To prevent twisting, the infusion holder should be attached just in front of the front or back pin at the top of the bed pole hoist.
