NATURAL movement.
The Vertica thus gently lifts the patient following the natural course of movement from a horizontal position into a seated and finally standing position.
Safe STANDING UP PROCEDURE.
The standing up process is completely smooth and stepless –
of course it can be interrupted at any time so that it can be adapted individually to the patient’s needs and state of health.
Patient mobilisation can thus be commenced safely – and stopped at any time.
Correct SITTING.
In a conventional bed, it has been difficult if not impossible to obtain the correct sitting position – it has been possible to adjust the back and leg rests and vary the mattress base, but correct horizontal placement in a seated position did not take place.
Better SITTING.
The Vertica allows a true sitting position and the multifunction foot part becomes a table, so the patient can eat comfortably or receive visitors. The patient’s eye level is also at the same level as the visitors,
which has a markedly positive effect on the patient’s emotional state.
STAINLESS STEEL sliding rail.
Optional stainless steel sliding rails provide plenty of possibilities for flexible grouping of treatment accessories around the patient.
Easy MOBILISATION.
By using considerably less energy many more activation measures can be performed, which in the long term lead to more stable patient circulation, hasten recovery and can save substantial costs as a result of earlier discharge.
SAFE as SAFE can be.
Safety is always divided into the safety which is physically designed into the product and the sense of security induced in the patient by use of the product. Weaker patients in particular therefore feel safer because the table is protecting them from tipping forwards. Grab handles which can be positioned towards the patient and can be easily reached ensure stable, physical security.
FLEXIBLE positioning.
The flexibly positioned mobilisation supports can be adjusted to the best position for the patient to reach them.
INNOVATIVE shortening.
The innovative shortening of the lower leg rest creates a comfortable seated height and secure contact with the floor for the patient.
SECURITY when standing up.
the grab handles on the mobilisation supports provide additional security when standing and can also be placed in a different direction if more space is required.
FASTER contact with the floor.
An additional feeling of safety is provided by the rapid contact of the feet to the floor – patients immediately have the firm floor under their feet.
Simple SECURITY.
The multiflex side rail system has many advantages. The most exciting is its ease of use. The system is also self-explanatory. Each movement and every grab handle is intuitively used correctly from the start and gives the user confidence from the beginning.
FEW hand movements.
The side rails can be lowered by using the same number of hand movements as you used to adjust them.
EASY to unlock.
If the patient does not need the mobilisation supports, it is very easy to unlock and lower them. You have free access to the patient in just a few movements.
STAFF operating element.
As safe as safe can be: the whole standing process can only be carried out under professional supervision and can only be initiated by a member of staff. The same applies to activation of the emergency positions: These are possible from any bed position.
PATIENT operating element.
The patient himself can control all functions for providing fully motorised comfort in the bed by using the operating lever.
Everything EASY to reach.
The bed has a control box and two operating elements. It is easy to master the numerous function of the standing up bed by using the programmable control box. To prevent inadvertent misuse of the two operating units, all bed functions relevant to safety can be individually locked.
EASE of operation.
People will only use the technology if it is easy to operate – that applies to all types of technology: if anything is too complicated to operate, it is not used. The stable mobilisation supports are therefore easy to position with one hand.
MOBILISATION supports.
The mobilisation supports can be moved out in order to lengthen the bed.
Unimpeded STANDING.
The grab handle on the mobilisation support can be moved aside if more space is required for the patient to stand up unimpeded.
Better MANOEUVRABILITY.
The bed is easier to manoeuvre because the wheels are close together, which is particularly useful for everyday transport of the patient within the hospital.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL use.
The foot part has multiple uses and can be converted into a table or a spacious bedding storage area.
Good MANOEUVRABILITY.
Vertica has particularly good manoeuvrability because the wheels are close together and the automatic telescopic support castors ensure stability.
Vertica makes life EASIER for STAFF.
Because the patient mobilisation process is largely automated, only a single support person is required – essential weight-bearing is taken over by the bed. Patient mobilisation and activation can be effortless undertaken by all nursing staff.
